Day 20 Describe how you imagine your life being different if you achieved the “ideal” body. Use if and then statements (e.g. if I wore a size ___ then I would get a husband and if I had a Husband I’d feel loved and valued…) What are you truly seeking through your efforts to manipulate your body?

Day 21 Take your answers from the above journal prompt and do a topical Bible study for each motivation you discovered. For example, if you discovered that you are seeking love complete a topical Bible study on Love. What did you learn? Choose one motivation to study per day until you’ve studied them all. I’ve given you 3 days here but I really encourage you to study every desire you discover.

*Here’s a great article about completing topical Bible Studies. I personally use Bible Study Tools for my study sessions.

Days 22 & 23 See Day 21

Day 24 What steps can you take towards a healthier relationship with food and body?

Day 25 What is stopping you from taking those steps? What can you do to overcome those obstacles?

These Bible-based intuitive eating journal prompts were created with the goal of true transformation in mind. True transformation comes from allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts and renew our minds. My prayer for you is that you will enjoy some quiet time with the Lord, that you will be still before Him and He will reveal His heart to you. That He will renew your mind, that He will align your thinking with His and that you will be set free from the yoke of slavery that is diet culture.
